Afforestation and Sustainable Forests as a Means to Combat Desertification IUFRO Conference Rescheduled

Dr. Joseph A. Tainter and Dr. Thomas W. Hoekstra will participate in the IUFRO Conference (International Union of Forestry Research Organizations) during April 16-19, 2007 in Jerusalem, Israel. Dr. Hoekstra will chair the session and present a paper on the application of sustainability principles to the management of dry land forests for combating desertification.
